Giroud to LAFC, Tim Weah & Juventus advance, La Liga in the US
Alexi Lalas and David Mosse kick things off with the exciting MLS news in LA. Olivier Giroud is set to join LAFC this summer and LA Galaxy have extended star Riqui Puig’s contract. Also, the CONCACAF Champions Cup semi finals are underway. Alejandro Zendejas scored the early goal for Club America in the first leg draw. (3:49)
In Europe, the Serie A title race is over. Inter Milan clinched their 20th Scudetto with a win over rivals AC Milan. Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah both started, but had no answer for the champs. In Coppa Italia, Tim Weah got the assist to advance Juventus to the finals. Weston McKennie started in the match and remains in a contract dispute. Sergiño Dest out with knee injury, historic Haji Wright performance, VAR & rivalries galore
Alexi Lalas and David Mosse are back after another epic week of soccer. Unfortunately, PSV also announced Sergiño Dest suffered a knee injury during training, he will be out for an extended period of time. Who will replace Dest in Copa America? Over in the FA Cup, Haji Wright became the 4th American to score in a club match in Wembley and nearly sent Coventry to the finals. The rivalries in Spain and Argentina also did not disappoint, El Clásico with a 5-goal thriller and Boca edges River behind a Merentiel brace. (3:52)

Is there a player in MLS that you would like to see more for the usmnt or/and another player that you like to see step up for this usmnt? And why?
MLS Restructure
With the addition of San Diego next season, Would you be in favor of MLS of restructuring to a divisional format and have scheduling like MLB where every team plays each other in the regular season rather than not getting every possible match up currently. The reason why I’m asking this is that on Saturday March 16th, this is the first time that Philadelphia has played Austin and this is Austin’s 4th season in the league. That’s not good for the fans.
2 possible setups you could have are that you could get 5-six team divisions with each divisional team playing twice (home/away) and playing every other team once alternating the home/away matches every year and still have 34 matches. The playoffs would be a bracket where anyone could play each other, 5 division winners get a top 5 seed and could play anyone in league based on seeding
Or 6-five team divisions where you play the divisional teams twice and every one else one splitting home/away games and have 33 matches. With the 6-five team model, you could keep the East/west model giving the 3 division winners on each conference a top 3 seed or scrap East/west model and let anyone play each other in playoffs based on points.
